This is a very common misunderstanding. If you are looking at the https://explorer.helium.com/ or the helium app, they are normally both behind. Your miner could very well already be synced.

- Bobcat, when the gap is at a low value such as 5 and under including negatives, its sycned.







- Syncrobit, both these should be close to each other.






- If your miner is still syncing, it is normal for it to take some time.
